What it checks
"Can my RV drive this road?" is the question that decides whether a trip goes smoothly or ends with a three-point turn on a shelf road. RigSense route feasibility answers it before you leave. You enter the road difficulty and any site length, clearance or weight limit you know, and it weighs them against your rig's height, length and weight. You can add wind and temperature too.
You get one readout instead of three browser tabs. The point is to catch the things that strand a big rig before you go: a clearance you know is too low, a site too short for your length, or a road rated rougher than your rig should attempt.
How it works
- Name the destination.
- Enter the road difficulty, plus any site length, clearance or weight limit you know.
- Add wind and temperature if you want.
- RigSense compares them to your rig profile and gives a verdict.
Your rig details come from the RigSense iOS app, so the feasibility check reflects your actual RV, not a generic one. Set the profile once and every route you weigh uses it.
Why it's one readout
A road can be fine for a van and wrong for a fifth wheel. Wind and heat can change what a heavy rig should attempt. The parts interact, so RigSense route feasibility weighs what you enter together rather than leaving you to reconcile a clearance, a difficulty rating and the conditions on your own.
The tool is free in your browser with a RigSense account. When you want the same intelligence on the road, the RigSense app carries your rig profile with you.
